Pride Fest Parade

Celebrating our 30th anniversary, our annual Pride Fest Parade will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at 11:00am beginning at Argyle Road & Ottawa Street and proceeding down Ottawa Street to the Lanspeary Park at Langlois Avenue. The parade and festival have traditionally been attended by the 2SLGBTQ+ community and their allies from Southwestern Ontario and Michigan. Our festival focuses on bringing all different segments and groups together to celebrate the accomplishments we have made but also to raise awareness of ongoing 2SLGBTQ+ issues that we still need to work on in the Windsor-Essex region and Canada as a whole.

We believe Windsor - Essex a fantastic place to live and would love nothing better than to have everyone come down to watch. Gay, Transgender, Bisexual, straight, whatever… we don’t believe in labels, BUT we do believe in everyone coming together and enjoying the entertainment, music, vendors and comradery.

We really do offer something for everyone, and this family-friendly event should not be missed. Grab your chairs and watch the excitement stroll by on Ottawa Street, or better, round up some friends and be a part of this terrific event. Nervous? Don’t be. We’re big fans of good taste and besides, you might even have a friend or two taking part. Our parade is a celebration of just how great things are here; not something that shocks people. What you will see are smiles. Lots of them. We guarantee it!

PARADE ROUTE
Once again our parade takes place on Ottawa Street. Starting at 11:00am from the staging area located on Argyle Road behind the Market Square, our route proceeds down Ottawa Street to Langlois Avenue, then turns right on Langlois Avenue to Lanspeary Park. Parade participants can then go right into the festival and join in on all the fun.

PARKING
There is actually a lot of parking surrounding Lanspeary Park and along the parade route on Ottawa Street.
