Celebrating its 27th year, our annual Parade will be held on Sunday, August 11 at 11:00am beginning at Ottawa Street and Argyle Road, proceeding down Ottawa Street to Lanspeary Park near Langlois Avenue. The parade and festival have traditionally been attended by the LGBTIQ2S community and their allies from Southwestern Ontario and Michigan. This year’s festival focuses on bringing all different segments and groups together to celebrate the accomplishments we have made in the Windsor-Essex region and Canada as a whole.
After the parade, join Detroit, Michigan’s own Sabin as the official Master of Ceremonies for Pride Day!
The day will have special presentations of " FOOTLOOSE" by Art Collective Theatre, dance performances by Cathy’s Dance Studio. Featuring exciting artists such as the Sarah Smith Band, Nikki & The Dirty Elizabeths and Carly Thomas, special drag performances by Ariel Attack, BOA, Disco Jesus, Geena Hayze, Hawaii Goodvibes and Juicebox and rapping up the day with mixes by our own DJ Mankind. The event will also feature a cash bar, food and merchant vendor marketplace, activities and much more. Over 35+ vendors will have everything from apparel to gifts, art to food and beverage. A donation of $2.00 at the gate would be greatly appreciated by the Windsor-Essex Pride Fest to help fund the cost of the event.
