What would the Windsor-Essex Pride Fest be without entertainment?  Definitely a lot less fun, that’s for sure!

Windsor-Essex Pride Fest words hard to provide an all-star lineup every August. We strive to build our entertainment lineup to showcase local, regional talent and entertainers, especially from within the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. We are continually working to create new and engaging opportunities to do just that!

Windsor-Essex Pride Fest is accepting expressions of interest from artists and performers who would like to take part in our annual festival in August and our year-round events.

We are seeking a variety of talent, including but not limited to:

  • Authors / Book Readings
  • Bands / Acoustic Performances
  • Child/Youth Performers / Family Oriented Performers
  • Comedians / Comedy sketches
  • Dancers
  • Digital Animation
  • DJ’s
  • Drag Queen / Drag King Performers
  • Hosts or MC’s
  • Interactive speakers
  • Short Films / Feature Films
  • Spoken word / Poetry
  • Theater Artists
  • Workshop Presenters / Presentations
  • Other

Windsor-Essex Pride Fest works hard to provide opportunities to as many diverse and new artists as possible, we encourage everyone to apply. However past festival participation does not guarantee you a slot at this year’s event.

Windsor-Essex Pride Fest board and volunteers work together to review submissions and do their best to find space for the acts that fit into the festivals and overall programming vision. If we are unable to offer you a spot for this year’s festival, please reapply in the future! We are always looking for ways to keep our lineup fresh and add new entertainment to the mix.

Please remember that we can’t book every inquiry we receive. Applicants will only be contacted if they have been selected to be a part of Windsor-Essex Pride Fest festival programming.

Please note that Windsor-Essex Pride Fest has a limited budget and decisions will be determined with that factor in mind. Applications with fees more than $750.00 must be reviewed by the Board of Directors for approval.
