FLAG RAISING KICKS OFF ANNUAL WINDSOR-ESSEX PRIDE FEST

After a hiatus of a couple years due to the pandemic, the annual Windsor-Essex Pride Fest returns with a series of events scheduled this week throughout the local area.

Organizers led by Pride Fest President Wendi Nicholson and local leaders participated Tuesday in a flag raising ceremony held in Charles Clark Square for the festival which includes events all week, culminating with a Pride Fest parade on Sunday.

This year marks the 30th anniversary for Pride Fest in Windsor.
